Well I saw it in English (there's an English-movie theater in Munich).

Saw The Avengers here in Germany with my son—we also watched Super 8 for the first time. So yeah, a good movie weekend. Also watched a Parks and Rec on VPN-enabled Hulu, and started reading John Scalzi's 'Old Man's War' after finishing 'The Wasp Factory'—which was shit.

I just read Orwell's "Coming Up for Air" last month, pretty great.

Painted Bird is great. My most re-read book is Don DeLillo's "End Zone" — funniest book I've ever read.
