On a earlier post I put Permanent Waves, Signals & Presto. I was going by the metric of popularity and how PW and Signals bookend their biggest album.

Was it Anderson or Robert Plant that chose not to do a tour because he wanted to take time off to study elvish (later on it was disclosed that that was a joke that went over people's heads).

From the photo I take it Jon Anderson isn't the singer?
His voice is so distinctive and identified with the group that I think it would be hard to hear someone else sing the songs.
No "Heart of the Sunrise", no sale. that's not true though, TYA and CttE would actually be enough. That said it would be like seeing Rush

Were you listening to "The Crunge" at the time? Because that is Funk Zeppelin.

I didn't cry when it was announced, but I did when they had the a special around Christmas time "The Muppets salute Jim Henson"  Since he signed all their paychecks, they assumed he was an accountant.  :)

I think the 14 year old comment refers to Jimmy Page or Jerry Lee Lewis and possibly others (Ted Nugent's bride was a teen too).

Cookie Monster wasn't much of a grammatical role model either.

On the "The Incredibles" DVD extras, they have a segment "Who is Bud Lucky". When I saw the "Ladybug Picnic" clip that Bud did for Sesame Street for the first time in 30 years, it was like the Bretodot character getting his old cigar box full of toys back in 'Amelie'. Neurons that hadn't fired in decades suddenly woke

So kind of like McCartney/Lennon, except one of them became a producer instead of making more recordings?
