Am I the only one who was incredibly disappointed with Undeclared? I started watching it right after I finished F&G and couldn't make it through the first 2 episodes. It was kind of upsetting, actually, since I was hoping to use it as the methadone to ease me off the heroin that was F&Gs.

Glad I'm not the only one who feels that way. I swear, every time my iPod shuffles onto 'Broken Safety' I still stop in my tracks, no matter what I'm doing.

I've never read his novels but I did see "Picasso at the Lapin Agile"  years ago, and I think it stands among my least favourite play ever. But he does seem like a nice guy…

It's not really 'padding' if it's supposed to be a critique though, is it? There was more analysis in your post here than in the article itself, enough to actually help me understand what you felt was weak about it, or at least what you disliked, even if I don't agree.
