I smiled when I saw Vincent Rodriguez III in this episode.
"Duh
Duh
So obvious
It's like ugh, hello!"

I always go back to this : “Never forget that a political, economical or religious crisis is enough to cast doubt on women’s rights. These rights will never be vested. You have to stay vigilant your whole life.” Simone de Beauvoir

I appreciated it too. But, somehow, I don't think anyone in Gilead's "elite" treasures the human body.

In my imaginary world, Lauren Graham is watching this, both devastated and proud of her TV daughter.

"O were my love yon Lilac fair,
Wi' purple blossoms to the Spring,
And I, a bird to shelter there,
When wearied on my little wing!
How I wad mourn when it was torn
By Autumn wild, and Winter rude!
But I wad sing on wanton wing,
When youthfu' May its bloom renew'd."

Yes. And the shot of Emily touching Martha's face. Also, Emily's screams made my stomach turn.

I wanted to jump through my screen so many times during this episode. It was physically painful. I've thought a lot about it since I watched it, particularly the scene in the van. And again, I was stunned by Bledel's performance.

I've had this lingering feeling for two days.

"You were all I had left." Ugh, please… I said it earlier, I'll say it again, Maggie is petty and mean.

"You may want to go into the next installment ready to hit pause and walk away for a moment." It's a kind warning. I watched the third episode yesterday and while I didn't, personally, want to walk away during the episode, I had a lump in my throat almost the entire time. I, also, felt very helpless watching it. I

Yes. I didn't want to say too much for those who didn't see it. But yeah, that's the scene I was thinking about, in particular. I might have uttered a quiet "wow" at the end of it.

I can't wait for the reviews of the next two episodes. If only so that I can sing the praises of Alexis Bledel. Moss is the most talked about when we talk about this show, and yeah, she's great. But damn, Bledel just knocked my socks off later on the show. I didn't expect it. So much depth under the icy, doll-like

True. And now, I'm trying to think of other movies that fall into this category. New game, thanks.

And then, the sound of the hammer. That scene is chilling.

"I was going to see it later but I fell behind. My Batmobile took longer than I thought to design."

Rachel Getting Married was great. Anne Hathaway has never been better, IMO.

That was… brutal.
What strikes me the most here are the faces, the women's faces, beautiful and bare.
"This will become ordinary." Brrr… Ann Dowd, indeed.
The cast is incredible, loved the last scene between Offred and Ofglen : "It was nice to finally meet you." I am happy to see Strahovski and Minghella in this kind

I'm with Tina Fey on this one : "It’s not the question, hotshot, the question is do you want to be paid the same for the same work? The question is do you want to control your body? Let's retire 'I'm a humanist'."
I'm sure Moss is tired of being asked this question, but the humanist answer sounds just cute and easy. It

"(…) and the similarities of The West Wing, intentional or otherwise, can’t help but make the show feel much, much smaller." Oh yeah, I don't think it's a good thing that I kept thinking about the West Wing during this episode.
Yes, there was a little bit of "The Supremes", minus Glenn Close, and minus the great

You don’t have to like anything you don’t like or don’t feel right about. My issue is with the approach. There are shows that I started watching and abandoned rather quickly (ten minutes is really a short time, though) because I knew they weren’t for me. But I don’t need to criticize them on their dedicated comments
