Thank you @a_quiet_storm:disqus. I saw it earlier and my reaction was basically "Wait, what?" It's quite something. Ah, how I love this comments section.

I love that they referenced one of the best scenes of the show : "Because I know you, because I know you, because I know you." The whole episode was breathtaking.
I think I need to let it sink before I can write about it.
But what a day, indeed. What a graceful show.
"We'll leave the light on for you."
You're right, it feels like an anomaly here. Thank you for your kind and insightful comments, as always.
I don't think it's a slip up. But I sure hope they don't have "worst performances of 2016" in store. I like the idea of celebrating good work, I think we need it sometimes, especially after such a difficult year. But "worst performances" is borderline petty (as @avclub-7d26c14b4a096a0afc48154974c4b7d6:disqus wrote…
Also, Clayne Crawford for Rectify.
I'm not sure I understand why Bobby Cannavale, who is a fine actor in general, needed to be singled out like that, the worst amongst all the best.
I can't wait for the era of overdone and overproduced biopics to be over. Yes, I know, it's never happening.
Well, that's not how cliffhangers work.
Oh, the tears.
I'd really like to know more about the whole Miguel situation. But we know it's coming. I'd say Jack died ten years ago, maybe. But I don't know. If anything, I would like the possibility of the actors playing the grown up kids to play younger version of themselves (22 to 26, or something like that) with Milo…
Also, I'm starting to feel for poor old Miguel. He just talks and nobody answers. "Now that is a beautiful tree. What is that? Is that a Douglas Fir? We went artificial this year but a Doug Fir, that's a classic." Yeah, ok.
Yes. Overall, even if the show is quite heavy on the emotional side of things, it's also very consistent and careful about the little details of the family life, past and present. It's nice and it makes all these relationships feel believable and fleshed out, which is not always the case on other shows.
When young Kevin went to ask the nurse about the better way to pray, he was touching his belly, like he was somehow feeling his sister's pain or at least sharing her pain while she was in surgery. Did I imagine that? Anyway, the kids are really good.
Also, I just love adult Kevin. He cracks me up. And loved Randall's…
For me, the show IS the central trio. They're so fun and exciting to watch. I'm also interested in knowing what the Rittenhouse story is all about but I have to say, as much as I appreciate Goran Višnjić's work, pretty much all I feel when they turn to Flynn's story is boredom.
The actor playing young William is really good too. You want to hug the man.
Also, I love how Randall has a method for everything in his life. Even in his anger, he makes lists of carefully numbered reasons why he's mad at his mother. He's one of the most rounded character in the show and I like that his neatness keeps being demonstrated through the story.
I would like the women in the show to…
This episode wasn't as seamless as the previous ones, to me. More clumsy. But I like this show very much. It keeps making the father figure a tragic one and thanks to the actors, it works. It's going to be difficult to redeem Rebecca's character. Ultimately, her decision was selfish and when you think about the fact…
Also, I just wanted to add, for no particular reason, that one of my favorite lines of the revival is : "Now, your name is Molly. Why?" I'm not particularly big on Michel but I thought the delivery was perfect.
Slight correction : Kirk got this very satisfying text from Lorelai.
With Lane maybe but she hasn't seen Jess for "four years, maybe more." I don't know, overall I thought Alexis Bledel underplayed some situations, making things more casual than they actually are in the Gilmore Girls universe. Like she was absent somehow whereas most of the actors she shared scenes with gave it their…
