Crosby was a great character. His growth during the entire run of the show was subtle and realistic. I've had major respect for Dax Shepard's acting since he played Crosby. Remember the episode "The Talk" and the whole conversation about the "N" word? He was fantastic there. Fake is so not the right word for this

Yes. I especially liked the connection between his kid self and his present self in the "Pool" episode. You can actually feel his pain of being considered the "easy" one of the three kids and understand where his hunger for affection and recognition comes from.

For me, the heart of the show is Jack. We know he was a good man who wasn't fully satisfied with his life, we know he gave up his dream, he adored his children and wife and most of all, we know he died. He is the absent figure of the present day, the missing piece, the thing to be resolved. I agree that the show is

Aka one of Hollywood's most wanted screenwriters.

That whole scene was great, and very satisfying.

"Why did you drop out of Yaaaaaale?"

Yeah. Funny timing, I just edited my post just to put this exact conversation. Ah, Mantzoukas.

Also, this trailer is Team Jess, right? He's the only one of the three guys talking here. #yesplease

I just re-watched the trailer because I didn't see them the first time. Yeah, that is awesome. Kevin and Demi are great and their podcast is very funny, especially when Mantzoukas is involved. I'd be so happy to see him in the revival too.
EDIT : When he said this on one of The Gilmore Guys episodes, I died : "And so I

Yep, felt good.

I wish I didn't read this before going to bed. Oh well, I guess I'm going to listen to a few of his songs, then. Cohen makes me think of my mom. Fucking time passing. 2016, we get it.

This is one of the most positive reviews I've read so far. I'm actually quite surprised by the harsh criticism of the show online. No it was not perfect but it's the pilot. Great pilots are not that common. I liked it. I like seeing SPJ on my screen again. I like Haden Church. I say let's wait (a few episodes, at

Well, it went by too fast. Bell's "You're basic !" moment was fantastic.

What a great thing to do ! Well, St Pol de Léon and Recouvrance, I believe you can't make more Breton than that. If that's the Recouvrance I know, your great great great great great grandfather was born in Brest. Recouvrance is a district of Brest but maybe you knew that already. Cooking kig ha farz is no small thing

Yeah, I thought Nick Drake would be mentioned more here. For me, it's "Northern Sky", especially towards the end. "Would you love me for my money - Would you love me for my head - Would you love me through the winter - Would you love me ‘til I'm dead".

Well, I don’t know where you’re from. It’s fun, to me, because I am from Britanny, a region on the northwest side of France. And Stivell is a well known name there. He modernized traditional Breton music and is a big defenser of the Breton culture all around the world. Tri Martolod is a song I learnt as a kid, in

Oh, ok. I thought you were referring to a specific, classic performance, a one time thing. I got it :-)

Which live is it? I'm not sure I've seen it.
I just watched a few live performances and I have to say, Dave Gahan is so great to watch on stage. I can't get enough of his dancing.

The version of Enjoy the Silence that I love the most is the live in Milan one (you can find it on youtube). At the end, Gahan introduces Martin Gore : "Ladies and gentlemen, the man with the wings ! Mister Martin L. Goooooore !!" Gore plays the guitar with a grin while the audience is cheering for him. Goosebumps

I love this song. And it always takes me back to a great scene in season 1 of Girls.
