It still happens in matches that I've seen, and the mandatory 8-count still exists. Both are terrible for fighter safety, and I say that as a fan of boxing.

Hey there! I'm doing alright, how are you? Haven't seen ya in a bit.
Butch Deadlift!
It looks worse but I'd argue MMA is much less brutal than boxing. Boxing gloves in particular are far more efficient at causing brain trauma than 4oz MMA gloves, and the standing 8 count ends up getting people killed in the ring. Not to say MMA fighters aren't experiencing brain damage but the fact that there are ways…
Wasn't there talk of an Alice spinoff at some point? I'd much rather see that than more of Luther. She's much more fun.
Not sure it's possible to Americanize Father Ted. Which is probably for the best (I say that as an American).
I didn't care for it. Too much scenery chewing, although the crazy redhead serial killer was interesting. Overall it seemed like the writers devoted way too much of every episode to demonstrating how tortured the protagonist was and that got old fast.

You forgot to mention the pile of dead crows they'll be dancing through.
Nope.
Uuuuugh I can't wait!!!
''Oh, it's that delightful TV leprechaun. I'll get your lucky charms.''
If you watch the ''producer's cut'' on Hulu there's a scene of April reading excerpts from Game of Joans. Well worth checking out.
Yeah, it kind of is. What you call "banter" looks like vaguely (or sometimes explicitly) misogynist bloviating most of the time.
I've noticed it as well. It's becoming pretty clear that he will troll/derail the comments in any article about or by women doing comedy. Or any article about women in general, I suppose.
"Abbi has no talent! Twitter hype! I transcend your groupthink!" There, now he doesn't have to bother.
