I know a dude who used to work for one of the companies now owned by Activision, and he said that, though it was incredibly well-paying, it was stressful as hell. Now he works for BigFish games, making Flash browser games and shit you see on Facebook, makes decent cash, and goes home at 5 every afternoon.

I had interpreted it as a statement on what is, perhaps, the majority of games: There is a guy, and there is a girl. In a fairly large number (most?) video games, this holds true. Whether that's Cloud and Yuffie or Joel and Ellie or Nathan Drake and Elena or Master Chief and Cortana… the list goes on of the number

The original Bioshock is practically on rails. Kill the Little Sisters or don't, it does not make much of a difference in the end. You either get a sort-of happier ending or you don't, but it otherwise makes no impact on gameplay.

BSI sold 4million-plus units and was considered a failure.

Germany was not subject to the only two live-tests of the world's nuclear weapon program.

Sparkle? No. Though I'm pretty sure Mathilda May might have glistened in a few shots.

That is, sadly, probably true. Probably because the people making the TV show fail to realize that it was Mathilda May that made this movie The Greatest Thing Ever for two generations of film-goers.

My sister was once bitten by a møøse.

They didn't. They painted in black-and-white. However, when the world made the switch to color in the 1930s, those paintings went right along with the rest of it.

Pretty sure I beat this Josh kid's ass like 20-plus years ago.

Because the world was not yet in color in 1862.

Goth has continued to evolve. What is "goth" now is only slightly similar to what it was in the 80s. Modern Goth is very cyberpunk, very much less Victorian.

Razorwire Pubic Hair is, for a cyberpunkish, kinda surrealist-noir, not bad.

Shit. Hard to ask for a better way to go. I mean, yeah, Tyrion has about the best way, but we can't all have that. But, shit, to die doing something you love, and apparently doing it right… best way to go right there.

That's fuckin' truth right there.

I once founded a coalition to ban coalitions.

Humans are a cancer on the Earth, and we really should radically depopulate the planet. Personally, I'd start with Florida (where I'm from), and then selectively work my way northward and then westward. Then I'd start browsing the globe.

No. No. Wrong. Wrong. Wrong.
