I think he meant to say "habitat"… a "habitat" of evil nuns.  You know, a convent or a… what… priory?  Is that what they call them?  Anyway… a "habitat" of evil nuns.  There might even be a plethora of evil nuns in habits to be found in this habitat of evil nuns.

Hope is the first step on the road to disappointment.

So, wait, who are you to determine what is and what is not "Spider-Man"?  Are you saying that they should only write stories that appeal specifically to a set of fans that only like the story to go in one direction, at all times? That there is only one "correct" way to read and view Spider-Man?

That doesn't make the movie good, it makes that dude with the call-out clever, and just sayin' what everyone was thinking.  Heckling a movie is totally different than heckling a stand-up.

So you would rather basically read the same shit that has been going on for, what, fifty fucking years now?

It was nothing but Ws and Ys, but, in Wales, the marshmallow bits were Ds.

Siouxise Sioux and Ofra Haza come immediately to mind,  I could probably dig up a few more if I go digging back through some early-80s Goth band album covers and scene 'zines.

Uh… Ryder and Burton weren't creating a look so much as latching on to one that is as old as Ryder herself is.

I like Knightly, too… but Winona is objectively better-looking in that red get-up Dracula had her in.

This, folks, is evidence of early Cylon development.  They might *look* like us, but they damn sure can't *act* like us.

"but just think of all the different, perhaps more diverse in subject and

was busy writing all these Wheel of Time books. maybe he could have
