I can't decide if "Until The End of The World" is a good movie but it's pretty awesome in any case. The soundtrack is amazing and practically every minute of the movie has music in the background. It definitely deserves a Criterion release, would be cool if they included the soundtrack but now we're really gettin'

Wait, are you…making fun of Maggie Smith? Dude.

No it was human shit. I saw the movie she was referring to.

Dear John Hawkes:

I love how Nick Sparks eagerly promotes the films based on his books. He is really just a cog in the marketing machine.

I can't even believe I am saying this, but Channing Tatum was probably the perfect choice for this role. I'm sure he cost too much, as insane as that sounds.

I don't know, I kinda thought him and Sam Jackson running around town solving childrens' riddles was scraping the bottom. I guess Jeremy Irons was kind of funny in that one at least.

One time I had a beer with the guy who wrote "Asylum Days," who was a friend of a friend. He lives with his mom.

Man, Zulkey is bringin' it today.

They just stacked the deck so damn high in that movie. Of course he's the guy who took Rae-Dawn's scholarship, how else would he ever learn about the plights of poor people?

He was damn good in "Murder in the First." Much better than the movie, but I guess that sums up his career.

I have to agree. Making a lot of money is the only thing keeping a lot of careers going in Hollywood.

I think PF was the first film since Die Hard to prove he had any sort of acting ability at all. I dare say it went to his head a bit…

That's funny because I remember in their TV review Siskel kind of singled Dourif out for crappy acting, and Ebert defended him.

So you're saying she was the Jessica Pare of her day basically.

If there is a category for "does a nude scene and you would expect that but not this kind of nude scene" Julianne Moore would definitely win for Short Cuts.

I am amazed this "film" hasn't become a midnight cult classic yet. It's as good-bad as anything I personally have ever seen.

I didn't like Avalon for the longest time. Then I put it on one day and it was one of the greatest things I have ever heard, and remains so. I think I was the problem.
