I thought you were like me, Tasha Robinson! I thought we were the same, man! Guess not.

The guy this film is based on is fascinating. He was featured in an episode of Erroll Morris's "First Person" series. Grew up dirt poor and became one of the top CIA agents of his day.

He should have said Marr was coming out but instead it was Andy Rourke. Hilarity would ensue as no one would give a fuck!

Every obituary I've read thus far has relegated "Webster" to barely a footnote. I'm not saying it was the defining work of the man's life, or even a good show, but it is what almost everyone under 35 knows him from.

I agree, but it's great just for the line about how the guy can bang his wife but he can't watch his TV. Even if Mann did recycle it from Crime Story.

Michael Mann really did make three nearly perfect movies in the '90s: Heat, Last of the Mohicans and The Insider. I wonder if those split the vote.

I love that scene. The lighting and everything is really terrifying. That's why I always liked Nicholson's Joker better than Ledger's - Nicholson's really was insane.
