No, I was not referring to the scene with Walter and Peter. I was talking about earlier in the episode when Olivia informs Walter and Astrid about what Peter has done. Astrid is freaked, both detectable in her face and her voice. Walter, however, keeps on talking in a very matter-of-fact tone. Not

Strong finish to hiatus those last two episodes. I agree with Phil's last paragraph (and the rest of the review). Last time they did funny/poignant right. This time they did dramatic/tragic right.

"As it happens, Olivia does encounter bounty hunters, but only after she leaves Simone’s junkyard—and only incidentally."
I might be mistaken, but I identified the bounty hunters as the two guys that were seen lurking in the background at the junkyard. Not quite that incidental?

It's funny you should say this about Noble for this episode, because it's one of the rare times that I didn't find him wholly convincing…

I didn't like how we were supposed to think that she would use it, especially when she had a look at it, again. I knew she wouldn't do that. Not a nice try, Fringe writers!

I watched Altered States for the first time shortly before Fringe premiered. When Blair Brown appeared in the pilot, that movie was still fresh in my mind. Felt a little weird seeing her…

Fringe is the definition of television-hipsterdom.

This episode rather made me feel like things are going down-hill, again. The review is spot-on. The concept of Hexter is challenging, but it's too little too late and perhaps deserved its own season. Feels too much like a device to switch the roles of Dexter and Deb.

The moment he died, I felt really stupid for not picking up on his pen-chewing as huge foreshadowing…

All good points, but I think most of us must have given up watching this show for plot a long time ago.
