I read the scene as Brody being made by Roya. I was surprised that Carrie got something else out of it.

I would have liked that when Dana was in the elevator the camera switched to the inside, like it does when someone stops the elevator on the outside in the last second…and then that wouldn't happen and just cut away from the scene.

Surprised that nobody mentioned Nolan's excellent cross-eye while on the phone with Mason. Which, by the way…why the hell does he call Nolan? Does he fail to notice that Nolan hangs out with Emily all the time?

Yeah, that's what gets me, too. As I explained at length in another comment, Etta's death didn't provoke a reaction in me. But seeing Olivia and Peter devastated…that's where shit got real for me.

I didn't really like Revenge until the fifth episode, I think. When they slowly started to drop the Revenge-of-the-Week format. Before that, there was only the promise of a good show for me.

It was fairly obvious that review and grade didn't match up. We all know that the AVC usually grades shows on a curve, against itself (which I think is a good thing, by the way). However, during the first five or so episodes, I don't see how you can really do that, since you don't have enough of a comparison. You
