Brody buried it in the yard, because it was desecrated by mistreating it.

More like "strangled the plot"…amirite?

I believe we call it cougar. If that helps. Kim and the Cougar, to be precise.

It's the truth after the fact…also known as a welcome excuse.

Not sure why you go off on this comment…must be a bigger issue underneath the surface. I think it's fairly common sense, though. TV is the most intimate, because we watch it at home (usually). It focuses on characters. That's it, really. What's not to get?

You could argue that the people in the bunker were not innocent in Brody's eyes. Back then I hated how they depicted them (or was it just the Veep?) as being ice-cold about the fact that a woman was shot outside. That seemed very manipulative of the writers, as if you should root for Brody killing them all.

Why am I the only one who believes that Brody is mostly protecting his family at this point?

I realized only last episode that he is Spock. Didn't notice that throughout the entire first season.

Might as well be a prop.

It was a plotline that Gordon (it must be him, I refuse to believe this shit is on Gansa) sorta recycled from 24. At least that turned out pretty sweet back then and didn't take too long. Here's hoping this will be similar.

I think Beirut Is Back may be my favorite episode of the show, so far.
