The film just didn't ring true.  A very good movie could have been made if someone spent a little time researching the Mall Santa Claus.  I spent several years at that job, and there is a strict "Santa Code" to follow.  He would have been fired on day one.

Earlier this year, I showed The Music Box to my Film Comedy class and it went over very well.  In fact, a student asked to borrow the DVD to show her family.  How could I say no?
Overall, I'd say the class was much more appreciative of Keaton than Chaplin (The Cameraman vs. The Gold Rush).
