That was me, and yes, you're completely right. I more or less meant that it seemed like they'd brought Mimi back JUST to create conflict (I can't imagine what the hell else they'd bring her back for), so I was pretty surprised that they ousted her in the first episode. Last season, that seemed like the only reason Phi

"but for others (Raven), it means something a little more surgical. Girl definitely had some work done, and when she first shows up in the workroom, she looks like the glammed-out offspring of the Joker and Janice the Muppet."

I suppose if you were to send the bottom 2 home, you'd have to do a 3-person LSFYL. Can you imagine the level of Mimi's desperate batshittery if she had to square off against TWO queens?

I love me some Jujubee, but I was living for that cigarette-holder hat/hairpiece/whatever Manila had on when she came in. Of all the "campy" queens, Manila's outfits always manage to have both the most wit about them AND the highest taste level.

The only reason I ever give Santino a pass is because I have such fond memories of that Tim Gunn impression. But I would be perfectly happy for them to replace Santino with Ross Matthews, who has been so great both times he's guest-judged. He's witty, he gives spot-on feedback, and he's not a dick.

Ditto what Persia said. It's one of the most leanly edited reality competition shows I've ever seen most of the time, and even when it's not, it at least has drag queen wit to pass the time. Also, the challenges on Drag Race are less repetitive than PR challenges tend to be. Give it a shot. If you liked PR at its

I'm pretty sure it was finished before Sahara's death. Still, (without spoiling anything for those who haven't watched the first episode) Manila turned it out in the first challenge.

Nina all the way! Though I wouldn't begrudge Manila a win, especially given recent events (Sahara Davenport's death).

This has pretty much been me for the past week. The husband is displeased.

It seemed that way, given the editing, but it also seems weird to me that the show would send home its main source of conflict. This is reality TV after all.

First episode (minus the week's sashay away) is streaming for Logo fans on Facebook, if you're so inclined. It's pretty much the best thing ever.
