One of my best friends in college was Australian. She very rarely drank Fosters, but one wonderful night she had a giant can of Foster's and was drinking it alongside an American drinking a tallboy of Budwiser.  It was a beautiful moment for Ameri-Australian relations.

Every Hitler appearance on this show is golden.

Buenos noches, mein Fuhrer.

Marc Singer should have just burned SNPP down to the ground when he had the chance.

"and if Springfield is in the east, Los Angeles." I don't understand this. Does this guy have a backwards map?

From the deleted scenes:

One of the many things I love about this episode and also Itchy and Scratchy Land is the costume choices for the Simpsons. The show just got that detail right about how you have certain articles of clothing only wear (like Homer's bucket cap) that you only wear when you're on vacation.

The phone calls to the Southern Hemisphere sequence is amazing, but my favorite moment from it is the penguin encased in ice that slams against the research station.

What was even better was that it was the episode where Don wins a Cleo.

He says the tide has turned.

Disputed Zone?

"A look back at the origin and history of 'Yakety Sax."

The fact that he's so pissed about the movie actually makes me interested in seeing it.

The answer to that is "not really, but." There are a few veiled references to the events of Zero Year, but nothing that really ties it in to the story. However, it is a pretty good showcase for the Riddler, and I wouldn't be surprised if there's some matter of tie in between this issue and future Zero Year issues.

The opening sequence of Arcane's personal hell was fantastic, I liked the rest of the issue, but the opening was just perfection.

I have to disagree, because Waid barely said anything about the verdict itself. The Sons of the Serpent didn't cause the verdict, they merely arranged (via the Jester) the revealing of the jury's identities.

It's the CW, they never cancel things. Well, except for Emily Owens, MD.

Shit, I woke up to 34 notifications, primarily from the "Mood Killing Music" threads.

Yeah, early reviews say it's crap, but it's Fresco and Jimmy Burrows. These people know how to make tv.

Because they co-ordinated?
