So, I guess this film is hopelessly hopeless.

I know the internet's going to be deluged with "Hank and Marie watch something awful" videos, so before those get old(er), here's the only appropriate take on that meme:
Similarly, Kim Deal said "Gigantic" is inspired by the film Crimes of the Heart.
@avclub-07563a3fe3bbe7e3ba84431ad9d055af:disqus never got called an asshole. Not at the AV Club.
Clayton actually did a pretty fiery version of Southern Man:

So, I'm confused, they've got some of the Legends of the Public Domain, but also a few original characters? This seems like some kind of godless mash-up of unrelated body parts; the kind of thing mad scientists dream up.
I don't know, the Builders don't strike me as villains; they seem more like they have a job to do (destroy a few worlds/universes that they feel have outlived their usefulness) and won't let anything stop them from getting the job done.
The scene where Daredevil got to ride the Surfer's board was just pure joy.
He's one of us!
Just to add to all of the other comments on Land, you'll also notice that when he can't find a good photo to trace, he'll just add random shadows over a face so that he doesn't have to draw any facial expression.
Yeah, I hate Land, but I'm going to buy this anyway because I like the characters and want to support them.
Heh. You're right. Somehow I missed the stupid hat on first view. So where's Boo?
I saw in the article that Boo wasn't dancing because of an injury, so was that her in the wig sitting in the chair?
Yeah, Douglas is probably best used as a wacky aside rather than a main part of the action. Berry's delivery of lines is great, but the weird world Douglas lives in is best used sparingly throughout an episode rather than as an A plot.
Walter White: Master of the Awkward Hug.
They're incredibly stupid, but I loved em, especially Walter Jr.'s band.
Pills you say? Might I be able to put them in jelly beans?
I just love that not only is he directly referenced in their anthem, but he's at the Springfield chapter's meeting and is absolutely flattered that they mention.
I wept at that sentence's beauty.
