I'm pretty sure that's the plot of We Will Rock You.

While we're on the topic of Freddier Mercury duets, here's an unreleased track he did with Michael Jackson: http://www.youtube.com/watc…
When I was 15 I thought that was the deepest thing I've ever heard. Now, I know better, but it's still pretty good.
AV CLUB NEEDS JOKES!
HIVE MIND PLAN!
Titus Andronicus is already such an over the top, insane play (Tongues cut out! Hands cut off! Unaware cannibalism!) that Taymor's style fits it so well.
Awww, I never thought about that and now I'm sad we never got the chance to see him on Thrones.
Yeah, in his after-film talk on Monday, he said that this Much Ado was influenced by what he called "noir-comedy" directors like Howard Hawkes and Billy Wilder.
I'd be in favor of that, because then I wouldn't have to hear the song.
@avclub-749a8e6c231831ef7756db230b4359c8:disqus: Sorry, should have clarified, I specifically meant the He-Man version. It's the only version I like.
Well,
This exchang made me snort:
Wait, explain, because I am legitimately intrigued by this story.
…and that's a good thing!
I saw a preview screening Monday (with Whedon speaking afterwards) and this version is a really fun romp. I've seen many productions of Much Ado, and this is one of the funnier takes on the "Benedict and Beatrice eavesdrop" scenes I've ever witnessed. The still up top is in fact from that sequence.
See, that's funny because I'm fairly certain that the original lyrics to "What's Up?" were translated in to Malaysian and then back in to English.
It's only appropriate that the first two posts were about He-Man.
That's all well and good, but how does he feel about He-Man's version?
We don't need no education!
Ooh, will Carl Weathers be there?
But really, McNulty and Bunks duet of "Fuck" is like jazz. It's all in the notes they don't play.
