Afternoon, everybody!

I would love if we could get F review notifications.

Starting with Smith is good, but I would suggest going back to watch Blink before the Angels two parter just because it's fucking fantastic.

He's dedicated, I'll give him that. So, did he finally get permabanned from the AV Club?

I've played "The Wanderer" blindly for friends before with great reactions. "Is that Johnny Cash? But it's a synth track!" And then I tell 'em it's from a U2 album and it just about breaks their brains.

I'm just here hoping that Blue Jay Leno will show up.

In 1988, Sir Ian went to meet with British Environmental Secretary Michael Howard to lobby against the anti-gay "section 28" of the Local Government Bill. Howard refused to change his position, but asked if he could get an autograph for his children. McKellen agreed, and wrote "Fuck off, I'm gay."

You know, just when I think I've hit the limit on Thatcher's madness, I hear something like this.

It was sometime after the Evil Dead trailer was released, since there are "jokes" based on that.

Well, I'm blue and don't know where to go to, so why not?

"A few years before Stars On 45, one of the hottest records in the country was 'Mr. Jaws,' by Dickie Goodman, which combined a Jaws parody with snippets of popular songs, as a kind of call-and-response."

Also, did you ever experience the bizarre terror that is The Ethel Merman Disco Album?

Ugh, the Streak. Somehow I've never (knowingly) heard the Disco Romeo and Juliet. Should I be afraid?

As posted above, I dig the Walter Murphy and David Shire classical disco tracks featured on the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack. I also enjoy "Stars On 45" and Meeco's "Star Wars" for their pure cheese factor.

I like "A Fifth of Beethoven," but I'm more partial to David Shire's "A Night On Disco Mountain," which is also on the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack. Pure dance madness.

Thank you Taco, for that loving tribute to Falco,

Former SNPP commenter Ron Carter?

I shed tears of joy, so yeah, a fist pump is appropriate.
