I should have been more specific.  I was aware that they play laser tag—the part that surprised me was Alexis rappelling down from the ceiling without anyone noticing she was up there in the 1st place…

The entire season-long relationship arc has been ridiculous.
Alas, that innuendo-laden chat between Castle & Beckett was the closest they've come to a direct conversation this season.  Of course, just in time for the season finale, they will simply blurt out everything next week without further hesitation.

Even stranger than the zombies was Alexis dropping from the ceiling to play laser tag with Castle.  It seems implusible even via cartoon logic.

I think zombies ate a part of your comment.

This episode was ridiculous — though I much prefer ludicrous antics like this over the ludicrous angst in the past 2-3 episodes.
Castle's reaction to the 911 phone call made my day.

Castle has always resembled Scooby Doo for grown-ups to a certain extent, though it doesn't fall into this trap as frequently as NCIS.

At least they resurrected Dr. Perlmutter from the grave.  I've rather missed his blunt and occasionally deranged comments.  Lanie has had her moments in the past… but I'm glad she was AWOL this time.  I wouldn't have been able to sit through another Lanie-Beckett girl talk.

either that or Tin Tin and Nancy Drew.

Considering that Michael already asked W.W. Emma the awkward pregnancy question, he could simply progress to awkward question #2 and ask if she is aware of her non-pregnant alternate reality doppleganger.
Naturally, if she reacts poorly to this line of questioning, Michael could always threaten to rescind any offers

I'm usually not one to troll, but when conversation threads like these come up, I just can't help myself.

Both OUAT and Grimm still share the common trait of having bland protagonists.  (Although I think this episode has made Emma slightly more interesting than before.)  Both Emma and Nick have enough personality to let viewers differentiate them from the antagonists, but not so much so that viewers are able to conclude

Australian fairytale Belle was attractive.
Storybrooke Belle is still rotting under the hospital somewhere waiting anxiously to become plot-relevant again…

It's true that most of this season did resemble an onslaught of filler until the Mary Margaret Murder case came along.
Randomly introducing and then disposing of characters (e.g. the Huntsman/Mad Hatter/Belle) is particularly frustrating when their presence is both tragic and inconsequential.

Regina seemed even more pathetic than usual this week…at least she is a decent source of comic relief.

I wasn't creeped out by how Michael approached Emma.  The conversation was awkward, naturally, due to the subject matter—but Michael brought it up in way that mostly made him seem sympathetic to Emma's situation.  From that scene alone, I mostly got the sense that he wanted to support Emma to make up for his son's

True, minus the part implying Grimm's pilot was great…

Rex being sexually active didn't shock me, but Michael's reaction was slightly more nonchalant than I expected.  Michael kept his composure and handled the situation calmly, but I think he let Rex off a little too easy.
He should have expressed disappointment in Rex, since Rex's irresponsible decision could have

maybe…after all babies are basically just the worst.

Yes, the therapist scene was poorly written.  It seemed to only demonstrate that Beckett hadn't remembered a thing from her talk with Lanie in "The Limey".
In typical Castle fashion, they also cut off the scene before Beckett could answer any interesting questions, so it was impossible to tell how she was affected by

Yep, it's Worf.
