Freaks and Geeks was the worst for me. So perfect and so brief.

I am definitely using the American Pie line as pillow talk at first opportunity. Hopefully with someone not fluent in French.
aaaand guess who forgot to hit the refresh button!
It opened overseas before it premiers here. This comment thread must be full of foreigners. And their brothers, who I'm assuming are also foreign.

And indeed @avclub-21c3134ee5edcb618c4f9aae358d73a7:disqus does, because it burned, burned, burned.
Been too busy to sit down and read, so audiobooks in the car for me. Me Talk Pretty One Day by David Sedaris and The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman. I read the Sedaris one years ago in book format, but it's been so much funnier hearing him read it. I'm probably going to revisit all of his collections this way. Gaiman's…
Did she gain weight to play the title role in a movie called "Monster?" Yeah. But to clarify my earlier statement, in order to play a role where they are not meant to be disgusting or the butt of every joke they have to be extremely skinny. Sorry about the hyperbole, I guess I was living up to my screen name there.
Most of his songs are as bland as white bread, but his voice involuntarily vibrates my ovaries. I can't help it.
I've always used MATES as a once-in-a-while podcast rather than a weekly one. No matter how funny it can get, it's the same two guys and snacks, which is bound to get repetitive if you hear it weekly. Still a good palette cleanser if you listen to a lot of the serious interview/nonfiction podcasts.
No joke, I used to go to that bar often, then one week after I moved to Oklahoma this happens. As if having to move to Oklahoma wasn't bad enough.
I find it ridiculous that people are making a big deal of Segel having to lose weight for this movie while every actress ever has gone through their entire career hungry. Someone let an actress gain ten pounds and still play a lead role and then maybe we'll be even.
Oh yeah, that was her. I miss her old nose.
With head, but detatched so he can lob it at people during tourneys.
It's also significant that she has a lead role without having to get a nose job or shrink down to a size 2. But *gasp* people still take her seriously and boys go on dates with her like it's no big deal!
Holy shit @avclub-9faa8bdc4a84b8217726cb1bfb903baf:disqus , what kind of drugs was your wife on to be chill enough to play dominion and coherent enough to win?

I think for this reason the Flaming Lips would have been a better choice for an influential but eccentric band. I mean I love the Lips but I only own 2 out of their 13 albums and I know there's a ton of EPs out there as well.
It's like she had to leave the group for a bit for them to realize that something was missing without her.
The one thing that bothers me, even though I know they couldn't really do anything about it, was that it was set in Michigan and there was never any snow. Trudging through 6 inches of snow for 60% of the school year, bundled up in huge coats and shivering, is a pretty defining aspect of a MI kid's life.
