Noticeably absent from any sense of reality: Mo Tucker.

Uhh… Never stop revving up my engine!
Damned good soundtrack too.
I will defend M&A to the death.
Far too low for BOB FUCKING DYLAN… only the greatest songwriter of the pop-rock era, maybe of the 20th century (IMO, certainly), and a guy who's influence on music, art, literature and politics is undeniable.
Sadly, this isn't as easy to ignore as "Maury" is.
And he won't be running against Tammy Baldwin, I would guess. So, good.
DOME SWEET DOME!
That's gonna be hard, seeing as he's dead.
The "foul stench" line is spoken to Governor Tarkin.
Noel, you magnificent bastard. First the "Long Strange Trip" review, now you pinchhit for Donna on BCS?
That thing, with Heads listening to the Dead, and only the Dead, has mostly fallen away over the years. The GD drew many sources, so many influences, that I don't understand how it can't lead people to exploring other forms of music/other artists. Having so many guests join them onstage in later years, no doubt helped…
I skipped Deer Creek in '95, where a riot also broke out and "fans" jumped the fences to get in. Glad I most I mostly packed it in when I did (Although I did go to Soldier Field for what turned out to be final GD shows).
Thanks for this review Noel. I expect there will be a lot of Dead-bashing in this comment section, so I may skip it just because of how much some comments are likely to piss me off, but I am looking forward to this film even more than I already was after reading this.
SAD!
Thanks for making me feel old.
You say that like it's a plus.
Sure! Any time!
You have yet to produce a link where cannibalism is mentioned, as far as I can tell here, let alone Cooper claiming it.
But you find it real easy to put party ahead of country, as long you think it somehow benefits you. Don't you?
