This review perfectly breaks down all the reasons I'm glad Shonda Rhimes is successful and famous and all the reasons I can't stand her work. Do Amy Schumer next.

Yeah, like it or not we're stuck with the show's narrative, and in that story it's pretty clear Effie reneges because she's annoyed by Jason's attitude. If that's really how it went down she has truly become the villain of the show, however you feel about Jason.
Most unintentionally funny scene poll:
Am I the only one who preferred this version of 30 Rock? This dark, snarky workplace sitcom grounded in some semblance of reality does a lot more for me than the live-action cartoon the show became.
Damn. I'm usually a fan, Sean, but this is the worst kind of entertainment journalism hackjob. Anyone who listened to the podcast would realize these guys were just riffing on goofy C-list comic book properties they literally picked out of a hat.

I mean yeah, artistic quality is subjective, but Tony Soprano was literally about twenty or thirty times "greater" than any movie performance. The Godfather is to the Sopranos what some great painting is to the Sistine Chapel ceiling.
I'm so crushed he might as well have died on top of me
okay so how about:
i thought so too but then i realized Duck's got no reason to think Bob's gay
PREGNANT MEGAN
"Evans’ signature literary technique is to ask a big question, then follow it up with a smartass answer. Is this technique hackneyed and over-used? You bet your sweet ass it is. Does Evans abuse every tortured metaphor and cliché in existence? Does Warren Beatty have an eye for the ladies? Does it work like…
oh so i guess O'Neal meant "doubtFUL"
"it’s doubtless one would quibble with Gervais’ description of the self-deluded paper manager as his “most famous comedy creation”—nor with Gervais’ assertion that it’s high time he revisit him, given that his other comedy creations have only served to make David Brent seem all the more unique"
