Psshaw! Everyone knows that the year 1935 never existed. The Gregorian calendar just skipped from '34 to '36, so Capra counts.

Frank Capra, probably.
It's games like these which remind you that the Vikings are the NFL's pre-2004 Red Sox.
A Reminder About Those Year-End Lists
I hadn't experienced a range of emotions for a character like Vontaze Burfict in a single hour since Pete Campbell on Mad Men.
Get your oven mitts. This Pittsburgh-Cincinnati game is going to produce quite the hot takes.
It's a perfectly cromulent movie. I liked it more than Birdman. There's some good action scenes, and Lubezki owns as Lubezki usually does. But there's still a lot of moments where you're just like: "We get it, AGI. You're a serious filmmaker."
Nobody better like this comment, unless you hate fun movies.
There have been too many comments here lately without likes, and I don't care for it.
My beloved White Sox can now claim another Hall of Famer! Sure, Griffey only played there for 2.5 months, but he did have that important throw-out at home plate to keep the Twins scoreless in the '08 AL Central tiebreaker, so it counts, dammit!
Ken Griffey, Jr. got 99.3% of the votes and is in the Baseball Hall of Fame, with his name not appearing on only three ballots. Mike Piazza is joining him in the Hall, too. David Eckstein got only two votes.
Are only American movies allowed? Because if not, then The Assassin was robbed.
Well, it's the most critically acclaimed movie of the year, so it has that going for it. Also, it's earned the Golden Globe nom, it's earned the PGA nom, it's earned an Art Directors Guild nom, and it will most likely earn a DGA nom for Miller. People just really seem to like it, and I think the Academy will, too.
It's weird how it's a week away from the Oscar nominations, and we still don't have a clear idea of which movies will get Best Picture nominees. There are easily around 15 or so movies that can get a nomination, and there's still the possibility that this year won't get the full ten nominees. My thoughts:
It was worth it, to be honest.
I hope Yahoo! releases the numbers for Community's sixth season now that Screen is finished. Somehow, I'm starting to doubt Harmon's claim that tens of millions watched each episode.
According to my Letterboxd profile, I watched 215 films in 2015, one up from the year before. Nine of them were re-watches. About 60 of them came out this year. In theaters, I watched 40 films.
His Santa's contempt for humanity is endearing.
Looking back on 2015, I think Paul F. Tompkins as Santa barging into Comedy Bang! Bang! and yelling "Look at this candy ass motherfucker" before beating up Scott Aukerman may be the funniest thing I experienced that year.
