DON'T FORGET:
DON'T FORGET:
On a scale of 1 to lumbaka, I rate that thread the annoyance level of an Evil Magnitude.
Alright! Alright! I'll finally watch Strangers in Good Company! God damn.
….Yes.
I thought the same thing about the movie, except I seemed to like it more than you did. I enjoyed the way it subverted several biopic tropes, as well as the humor that mixed both the highbrow and lowbrow. Also, that was some top-notch grunting from Spall, the kind that was more delightful as the movie went on.
I changed my mind for your second question. Mr. Turner was stunning to watch, which is something I totally did not expect from a period piece about a famous painter. Also, I've learned about making sarcastic comments on the Internet. Inflection is so interesting!
I introduced my five-year old nephew to The Simpsons. He mispronounced it multiple times as "The Simpsnows." It was pretty adorable.
On a completely different note, which upcoming midseason shows that you've screened do you find to be the most promising?
Hey, Todd!
So…do you wanna submit some lists for our year-end poll? It would be pretty cool if you did.
I have a feeling that if AMC hadn't decided to split the final season into two parts, it would've fared a lot better in the year-end lists.
Please don't. It's gotten too hilarious at this point for it to finally be taken down.
Congratulations to SG Standard on winning the CZ Fantasy Football Championship! Despite starting the season with a 1-5 record (an undeserved record that was mostly the result of bad luck in opponent scheduling, as his team always managed to put up a high PPG average), the RUN THE DANG BALLS came back in style, winning…
1. The Third Man
2. The nightclub scenes in John Wick looked pretty cool.
I always thought Disqus worshipped the Devil.

I think if there's anything to be learned this holiday season, it's to not respond to random comments of Christian dogma and then flag those comments. Disqus is a fundamentalist that will not forgive our sins.
WHY WON'T THIS THREAD DIE???
I think it's because a lot of what goes into a late night show's buzz these days are bits aimed towards going viral the next day, and Craig's show was probably the least viral there was. Kimmmel's show is one of the best as this (along with Fallon's show), almost always doing some sketch like a prank or something with…
Another Saturday, another reminder that you can still submit your year-end lists to me (E-mail: mj1599@aol.com) in order for it to factor into the 2014 AV Club Communists Year-End Poll. Official rules on what you are allowed to submit can be found here. The first lists (Albums and Singles) are due in about a month.
