I tried yesterday, and the answer is way more than twelve. Just including 60s sitcoms alone would lead you to eleven shows. I wonder if Harmon just made it up as a joke.

Same. 8 out of the top 20 shows are ones I have not watched yet. The holidays are going to be a busy catch-up time for me.
It did, indeed, air on Hulu in the US. So, it counts.
Interesting that you would include The Grand Budapest Hotel, considering they had a cat character killed.
N.o. to q.i!
Oh, and also, I am categorizing "Too Many Cooks" as a TV episode, not as a show or a film. Adjust your hypothetical lists accordingly.
This is a reminder that you can officially start submitting your year-end lists for the 2014 AV Club Communists End of Year Polls. Most of the same rules from the 2012 and 2013 polls apply. Here is what you can rank from the year 2014, along with the tenative due dates for each list:
Can't sleep. Clown will eat me. Can't sleep. Clown will eat me. Can't sleep. Clown will eat me. Can't sleep. Clown will eat me.

Albums- me
Singles- Kojak
Films- jmunney
Video games- Stingo
Comics- Stingo
Yeah, you're probably right about the deadlines.
Per Stephen's request, it appears as though our 2014 year-end polls will be organized by myself, Stingo, SG Standard, Melted Kojak and jmunney. Here is the breakdown of the polls I think we will be doing:
-TV Shows
-TV Episodes
-Albums
-Singles
-Films
-Video Games
-Comic Books
Sure!
I would be interested, and would be happy to help you out if necessary. If you do allow me to help, then I would love to handle either the movies or TV shows list(s).
If Troy is still being held hostage by those pirates, then it looks like he will miss the Soul Train Awards yet again, because it's on tonight.
I don't know who is running it (Stephen did it the last two times), but I'm guessing December and January.
You know what else happened? A trade offer I made for you. Any chance you could respond to it by Wednesday morning?
