A sausage in the mouth?

Chicago Fire: Miami

This reminds me of the best t-shirt ever (the fact that it's being worn by Anna Kendrick also really helps)

C'mon, you ask a 3-year-old to give a cool name to a wolf and see what you get!

Only the first 10 eps, though. (The second half of Season 1, which aired this year, are not available for free. Must pay.)

Technically, Time Warner Cable was spun off as a completely independent company as part of a major restructuring a few years ago. It only uses the Time Warner name under license these days.

Are they Alf pogs? You remember Alf? He's back. In pog form!

@avclub-9ab64632d020964b691956adbb0d9744:disqus A certain someone shows up in Dance with Dragons. I won't say the name, but who has a thousand eyes, and one?

Bantam is planning on collecting the novellas and publishing them in a single volume. As I understand it, the fourth one was already written and ready to go, but George pushed back publication because he wrote a new Ice and Fire novella that's completely separate from D&E and ASOIAF. (This one covers the original

My wild ass guess is that it's being prepped to take over once True Blood ends. Supernatural themes in a contemporary setting and all.

Which will piss off a bunch of subscribers who paid money for premium cable. Now you're losing subscribers.

And that's the tricky thing about the math. Any price for HBOGo has to balance the subsequent loss of the more-expensive HBO subscription.

Dunk and Egg is fantastic. The Hedge Knight made me cry at one point. But I'm not sure you could sustain a series with it without creating something that would echo Game of Thrones, especially if they cover the Blackfyre Rebellions. Otherwise, it's just Dunk and Egg wandering in adventures of the week.

Yeah, Hanks' production company is working on that. He's got a ridiculous history with HBO, so I have much faith it will move forward.

I've read that those recycled movies remain the big draw on HBO.

Not really. The problem is that if you can get HBOGo for $1 month, then anyone subscribing $10 or $15/month is an idiot. You'll see a massive drop in subscriptions, and that means HBO's revenue will plummet. You basically need 10 to 15 HBOGo-only folks for every current HBO subscriber. That's a really risky bet.

I love Richard taking the test and stately proclaiming, "I am an autumn."

Yeah, Ginny was in sidekick mode the first half. Sasha and Boo were obviously the focus of the show. But the problem is that they completely took Sasha out of a realistic place (a completely dysfunctional home) and put her in a completely magical place where a 16-year-old with no job can have a fabulous apartment of

Late to the party, but just watched this and the big tell was the establishing shot in LA. Notice all the billboards in the background? Zero Dark Thirty (which released in LA in December) and HBO's Beyoncé documentary, which aired Feb. 16.

Late to the party, but can't believe that no one mentioned that ASP raided the Whit Stillman players once again. First Eigeman, now Taylor Nichols! Now we just need them in the same episode to recreate Metropolitan or Barcelona.
