He did this a couple of years ago with a movie called 1911, about the founding of the Republic of China. It was staggeringly dull and Chan was pretty much wallpaper in it.
He has another action picture (Police Story 2013) coming out in December. And another called Skiptrace that starts shooting soon, co-starring Fan Bingbing and, uh, Seann William Scott. He's full of crap, to put it politely.
Every single shot of Lazar in this movie is hilarious. There's not many who could pull that off with nothing but an actor looking into the camera spouting expository dialogue, so kudos on that.
