It's more disappointing for me than the Cars movies, since those were clearly nothing more than an automobile fetishist jerking off and selling a bunch of merchandise in the process. there have actually been a good number of Malick sightings from the two shoots he's been doing with Christian Bale, the top pic on this page (admittedly not a good view of Malick himself, but that's him second from left poking out from behind the camera) is pretty boss
