Y'know, I never really thought about it, but we've actually had nearly as many episodes after the first cancellation vs. the original run (68 vs. 72). And of course, both S6 and S7 were basically split into 2 years, so we're really looking at 9 seasons of Futurama in total, not 7. I guess it's actually had a pretty

That's putting it a bit too strongly.  I thought the first movie was a great way to revisit and strengthen Fry and Leela's relationship, especially since it had been years since this episode.  But they did make some very strange and questionable decisions regarding it in the Comedy Central seasons.

An entire society of linguists and the best term they could come up with was "conlangs"?

@automar:disqus Regardless, Brubarian should check Fringe out anyway and decide for himself whether it deserves the acclaim.

I still liked Caprica, but I am generally much less interested in prequels than sequels, and agree that they should try a sequel spinoff that pretty much disregards the last 10 minutes of the series finale.  It could even be a way of subverting viewer expectations, kind of like how Inglorious Basterds was revealed to

Let the Asians have a turn!

Good hygiene.

Hm, she was pretty manipulative sure, but my reading was that she mainly motivated by her son's happiness.  The whole "we can take over the mine" thing was merely her way of manipulating her husband into seeing things her way.

I didn't watch the Blood and Chrome pilot.  Why did you prefer this show?

I didn't really get the sense that they were bad guys, just misguided by their  religion.  Datak is ruthless, but he's only one dude of many.

1) Uh, didn't he really die this time?

She's had good moments in Buffy/Angel, although sadly those were the highlights of her career.

Six degrees of Community: Dean and Britta's Britta voiced Bloberta Puppington (among others) in Moral Orel, which was created by Dino Stamatopoulos, best known as Starburns.

Given how much bullshit is on TV, 95% might not be so off.

They seem to be building up Will to be Alicia's "true love", but hopefully that doesn't really turn out to be the case.  Neither Will nor Peter seem all that appealing at this stage.  The best thing for her is to simply destroy this love triangle completely: Get a divorce, join Cary in a new firm.

You could make the case that there aren't that many women in the cast

The Doctor uses a key (that "finger snap" bullshit is just that:
bullshit. Never went anywhere, never should have been brought up int he
first place, and is yet another entry on the long list of storytelling
sins that is the travesty of RIver Song's character).

Whose physics are you going to trust?  A Time Lord's or humans'?  We don't even have a theory of everything yet!

Wait…End of Season 3?  You mean the abomination that was floating, glowy Doctor-Jesus?
