I would say the opposite - I don't really like Miranda although I can at least appreciate Ms Hart's skill in the title role. In Spy she was like a dead weight though, grinding everything to a halt every time she appeared. Except the "high shelf" line she elicits from Rose Byrne, she was the single worst thing about

The Quick and the Dead is a very, very entertaining film. I love it.

Yeah - it has a phenomenal, chilly core and a very solid concept. But the climax is weak and sours the good work elsewhere,

I think RE4 was a smart move for the series, as it unhinged the continuity from the Racoon City incident for the first time whilst keeping some of the entertaining cast and tone. I miss the puzzles, but I don't mind endless sequels as long as they are fun. Even the hated RE6 was a satisfying experience for me.
Hopefully

I'm near the end of the third episode of RE: R2, but the real gem of the game is the Raid Mode. Basically it's short, time or enemy number limited blasts where you level up your character and weapons, gain skills etc. There's daily challenges, a dozen maps, twenty characters and a ton of levels to plough through.

That's right! And:
Marijuana David Bowie
Acid David Bowie
Heroin David Bowie
Ecstasy David Bowie
50+ multi-vitamin David Bowie

I wouldn't even dare use that spurious argument to get Jeremy Clarkson sacked. And I really, really, really want that ringpiece off my tv.

Please don't wish that on us. Some of us really want to be European.

It's one of the greats of Victorian literature and is absolutely worth any reader's time and attention. It's lengthy but not a strenuous read, and it is kept relevant by the decidedly modern drive of it's heroine - a woman whose self-worth is continually challenged but who remains steadfast and more interested in

I think that Alien's strength lies in the unfathomable nature of the creature. Does it want to kill us? Eat us? Fuck us? Change us, infect us? It's a horror we can't comprehend, right to the very end of the movie. By Aliens, we know about it and the true horror has evaporated almost entirely. In fact, it's worse than

"Each one starts off by nullifying the accomplishments in the one before it" - that's a brilliant observation that I really hadn't picked up on. Ripley achieves the impossible at massive cost, and still can't truly escape… Maybe that's Blomkamp's hook.

Though one of the sequels can touch Alien, I love all of the Alien movies (including Prometheus, but not the AvP ones) to greater or lesser degrees. I really like that they aren't rehashes of themselves, and that they reflect the sensibilities of their directors well.

Allergy clinic. Got to be a front.

You… died in a film class?

The Spider-Man ongoing series consistently has him forsaking vendettas and turning away from fights to try to save the most amount of people.

It also has a cat shitting out some lace into a boot. TV gold.

I too really liked the Roxburgh/Hart Hound of the Baskervilles - it's straight, exciting and just creepy enough - though I haven't seen the BBC Cushing version. I'm terribly fond of the Hammer Hound, and I was really disappointed when Sherlock fumbled their adaptation of it so badly.

I was born there, but haven't lived there since I was tiny. I go back fairly often (I was there last week to show my grandad his new great-granddaughter) to see family. It's a wonderful city.

"Ya cyan't com in."

The CBB episode where Scott and Jason Mantzoukas forced Andy Daly to improvise some limericks is what really got me coming back to the show over and over. He really rides the "yes, and" principle for all it's worth.
