Roger Allam is so much fun to watch, getting the basic reasonable nature of the man over whilst seeming completely exasperated with the whole of his party, his job and possibly the modern world. He seems less clueless than the other MPs we've got to know - Hugh, Nicola, Ben - but just as adrift.

I really like Dalton but The Living Daylights is only sporadically fun. Licence to Kill is a belter though, mean and vicious.
