He's not the star of Blackadder, but if you haven't seen it, being a Stephen Fry completionist is as good a reason to watch as any (beyond the fact that it's brilliant). He's only in series 2 and 4 on a regular basis though.

The Tooms episodes, while very good (from what I remember) were unsettling at the time and I still recall one with a couple of twin girls that still creeps me out.

If you have an interest in cycling or even the pressures of professional sport then I can thoroughly recommend it. It does risk leaving you cynical about the sport of cycling though.

Read Tyler Hamilton's book The Secret Race - there is a very useful explanation of why doping gives different advantages to different people.

I thought Thousand Autumns was much better than Cloud Atlas, I just couldn't get along with it and it was a real struggle to finish.

Kind of a strange mix this month, Terry Pratchett's Dodger, which I
really liked, as I have almost all of his YA books. It probably helps
