Annie Clark: Cowboys fan. Oh well, no one's perfect.

For really successful bands — bands that record really complex albums, go out on these huge world tours, who deal with big time fan and media attention — ten years is basically the cutoff point. I think there's so much pressure to produce every moment they're on stage and in the studio that it just naturally burns

The mom also seems pretty damn furious when she finds the lighter in the son's room. Especially after he says he's going to burn books. Throughout he's lighting candles. I think you're on to something.

Finally saw this and wanted to contribute. First off, yeah this is by no means torture porn. The violence is brief, more unnerving and suspenseful and is definitely not there to a person off for lack of a better term. Yeah, it's intense when it happens but not Hostel. Second, I, like an earlier poster, did see a woman

The entire angle is … so Vince. It's clutching for cheap heat. So, when the supposed heels are shouting hot venom like "Our two countries and cultures should come together" and … I'm supposed to boo? It's cheap. Look, New Day do a lot of old school "you're city sucks" work to get a reaction but at least they're having

I think that "have more wrestlers who look like David Arquette" strategy is what killed WCW.

All sports fans are marks in one way or another. But then again, wrestling fans don't allow their governments to fund billion dollar stadiums for billionaire owners to continue to rake in billions of dollars of revenue every year. (Sorry for basically repeating your point

I was visiting Austin last year and was amazed at how much the city loves Mexican culture and food … yet I didn't see any Mexicans. Thing is there's a bit of segregation to the city. The neighborhoods that used to house many of the city's minorities have been developed and poorer families have been priced out. The

I don't listen to Drake. I know nothing about this feud … but now I'll be forced to order a Number Five with no onions and a sweet tea.

I've only listened to it once, but this is probably the funnest, noisiest Wilco album since … ever? I think the comparison to A Ghost is Born is spot on. That's probably my favorite Wilco album, but this one is short, snotty, fun while keeping that other album's sense of adventure. Basically, I liked it.

Like Kyle I first heard the Foo Fighters on that Houston alternative station. However the first song I heard them play was actually "Exhausted." I also remember the DJ's reaction: "eh, I wish them luck." I don't know what happened. That song must have leaked because I can't imagine anyone hearing it and thinking

Finally saw the doc last night.

This. I'm a straight guy, but I'm also a Hispanic guy and growing up I used to get all of these weird looks when people found out I listed to rock music. "Why are you listening to Smashing Pumpkins? You should like Mexican music." I don't/didn't like that music. If you do, great. Don't project your ideas of what I

The first song that comes to my mind is "Ashes of American Flags" off of the Kicking Television album. The album version is no slouch but that damn solo at the end of the live version just gets me. I'm not saying anything new but Nels Cline's guitar work elevates those songs, especially those from A Ghost is Born.

Like most things the truth is somewhere in the middle. Maybe James, D'Arcy and Jimmy just don't feel like they can win, so the best option is to not talk? Maybe they think that letting Corgan talk says everything that needs to be said? But yeah, hopefully someone will make a doc about the band's history. Maybe it'll

If I remember right, there were always rumors that D'Arcy had actually left the band during the sessions. That's what I remember reading at least.

This absolutely. Part of the problem with Corgan's writing is that he's lost his fastball. But I think the major issue is that he doesn't have anyone to challenge him, to take his ideas in another direction. James Iha was the most underrated part of the Pumpkins.

Actually Heavy Metal Machine is a lot of fun. I forgot about that one.

I absolutely agree. SP was my band growing up. They were the first real show I ever saw. They were the reason I picked up the guitar … But as the years have gone by, as Billy opens his mouth again and again and again, it becomes really hard to appreciate anything new he attempts. But those first few albums are still

Machina is definitely … something. There are a few songs that I like (Everlasting Gaze, Stand inside your Love, I of the Mourning, Age of Innocence) but most of it is too self indulgent even by Corgan standards. This is the album where he crossed the line between indulgent "artist" and indulgent douche (notice no
