For me playing video games is largely (although not exclusively) a nostalgic act, far more than in other mediums I imbibe. I play new adventure games now and then, but about half the time I'm revisiting games I loved in my youth. I guess what I'm trying to say is, fuck yeah!

I've never seen Elf, but it seems kind of pointless to remake the movie in stop motion. Couldn't they just create a new story about the further adventures of Elf? Unless Elf dies at the end of the movie. Does Elf get shot by a mugger at the end of the film? Or does Elf become a victim of 9/11 shortly after moving

The film itself is really dated. But I watched it again a few years ago, and I thought large portions of it held up. The atmosphere was fantastic, and I really liked the movie's use of models. It really is a product of its time, though. It's like the entire movie is screaming at you, "It's 1994!" Still, I kind of

Are people really going to be bored by forty-five minutes of fighting? In all honesty, that sound pretty awesome to me.

The idea that the eagles not helping out Frodo is some sort of plot hole is just idiotic. The Ringwraiths also fly giant lizard beasts, so it's not like Sauron doesn't have air defense. This entire complaint is an example of when a group of people think they've outsmarted a film, but in reality they just haven't

I'm waiting for when Dick Wolf's sex crimes spinoff gets its own sex crimes spinoff.

At first I dismissed this show as just an X-Files knockoff, but a number of people have recommended it to me. At ten seasons, though, it seems like tackling the show might be a little too much effort.

I look forward to seeing ABC's nuanced portrayal of the generation gap.

From other articles I've read, it sounds like this isn't his first incident. The man along with the rest of the Buffy cast has given me countless hours of entertainment, so I hope he recovers from whatever ails him.

Why do you have to play with my emotions like this, Jim Henson?

Oh, come on Paul Feig. Just throw Ernie Hudson a bone and cast him in a cameo already!

You have to keep in mind that those books took place and were written in a simpler time when it was acceptable for parents to cultivate a type of Stockholm syndrome in their children. The good ol' day.

I thought the proposed Dark Crystal sequel sounded pretty cool. If I remember correctly, they were planning to use mostly green screen and puppets, which would have been one of the few times that a green screen film sounded like a good idea.

I don't think I am able to put into words how much I fucking hate this.

It's got to suck for Chuck Todd to know he was second choice after a comedian. Of course, I can't feel too bad for Todd, since he's really shitty at his job and yet still managed to get promoted.

Fuck this guy.

I just love the enthusiasm he has for all the roles he took while growing up. All of the experiences were "awesome." I've been a fan of Elijah Wood since I was a kid. There was something relatable to his performances, and it's been a lot of fun to watch him branch out over the years.

This is just further evidence that the song is from the point of view of a serial killer, not a boyfriend.

There's some truth to that. If you consume nothing but superheroes and superhero movies, then that's a problem. But I also think it's okay to delve into a little escapism now and then while also engaging in more complex art and ideas. You can watch Captain American and read Kant; read Batman comics as well as books

Cocaine's a hell of a drug.
