I feel as if you're watching a completely different Southland to everyone else. Yes, the episode was random, but the point was to highlight the randomness of their everyday lives. To show how even lives explosives in the station fall under routine.

I'm not questioning it on terms of genetics and phenotypes. Hadn't even noticed the hair colour thingAll I'm saying is that it's Tammy we're dealing with. I can totally see her ripping off Sammy for child support while she does whatever she does. She's just that horrible.
Hey, excellent review. Everybody had issues, but I was scared shitless over Sammy the entire time. Out of everyone, he really gets them heartstrings yanking. The guy is all heart. No mask. No buffer between him and all the assholes of the world. I thought he was going to jump coming towards the ending there.
Vikings? Borgias? Lol. In no way shape or form. They're like polar opposites of each other.
You know how the real banshee is a spirit that appears to people before they die? Banshee is about a man who's kinda an ominous Banshee in that he kills before you die… and also, he lives in an Amish town called Banshee, so a lot of people get dead, in highly dramatic and entertaining ways.
Yay for you guy. I don't know about endorsement, just assumed you'd cover the quality stuff.
Emma should kill Roderik first to win Joe's trust, then Claire and baby Joey in secret and blame it on Ryan, Ryan in front of Joe, and then Joe - she should take over as Head Serial-Killer in Charge. She's the best!
Lol at Frank. Last time he was ass-raped by Sheila, can't wait to see how they top that this time around with the infinitely creepier Cristopher
Shows like BANSHEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and Vikings make shit like this very hard to watch. I mean, could this have been more boring?
Is it weird if I say that watching this makes me want to start my own serial killer cult? Just to show how much better I'd do it?
It was actually pretty good! The trick to enjoying this is to lower/abandon all your preconceived notions about how the FBI works. This is a different, less competent investigative team that just so happen to share the FBI initials. As soon as you realise this, The Following becomes B+ stuff. Try it next episode and…
Yeah, love Spartacus too, but it's not really real, is it? (yes, I know it's a real story) It's like a moving painting or something. The violence is like art.
Seriously though, who plays the banjo? Beside that guy from Hangover? Does Steve Martin have a banjo skit?
What's confusing you, pray tell? I was confused when he died and the movie continued.
AV club is going to do this? Or give it the Banshee treatment?
And not that I have anything against Vikings, it's awesome, but you know what's more awesome?
SNLs best person in the past 10-15 years…

It was fun. Just watched it. Baldwin Mandingo fighting, the porn stars, "science"… really good. I don't have a clue what Maine Justice is about other than a bailiff called Jessup with a perm and Sudeikis being ridiculous, but this is one reoccuring sketch I didn't mind.
lol, I totally get what you're saying - they could have given us more than 10 episodes to flesh out the characters instead of giving us standard archtypes, but to me, it's just kinda refreshing to see the Romans portrayed competently. Glaber made a mess of the whole thing and imo, that was more unbelievable than…
I get what you're saying, but I think the point of this season is to highlight that what Spartacus and his people are trying will inevitably end in failure as Gannicus predicted in either episode 1 or 2, that their slave rebellion will never actually vanquish Rome. Spartacus is persisting I think to show that they…
