I assumed that at first too, but that's why I laughed.

This whole damn debate just blows my mind; I had no idea it was even a thing until I started reading these reviews.  I always thought, like a few people here, that what made the final scene so beautiful was indeed its lack of definitive closure. I agree with a few others in this thread and the one below—that it's

I've mentioned this in this comment section before, I think, but I guess I enjoy saying it: Breaking Bad isn't and has never remotely tried to be gritty realism.  And I think most viewers are aware of that.  It is a purposely stylized show.  It's about morality and fate and various concepts of justice, and all those

Obviously not, but judging by these responses I suppose it must be time for me to pack it in and leave. Like I said, never mind.

I agree wholeheartedly. I'm not sure why I read this review, but, having done so, I'm now confused as hell.  Maybe part of it is that I don't think I've seen the Silly Little Showbiz Book Club feature before and perhaps I'm missing something about its style and goals.  But this is a review of a 112-page self-published

I love talking about dogs; I've always had such an affinity for them, and it's one of the few goddamn things my husband and I have in common.  So my awesome dogs include a sonofabitch mixed breed, a stray beagle who's the sweetest little fatass who ever lived, and a stray border collie who showed up starving, full of

That's a gorgeous husky!  My husband had a husky when we met—well, he was my dog too for seven years.  He was a beautiful combination of regal, loyal, and stubborn as a motherfucker.

@avclub-4caf6aa0375b2499ebfe7e971b36eee3:disqus Out of curiosity, what does living in a red state have to do with it?  I don't know—maybe statistically they're more likely not to give a shit about animals?  It's just that I live in a red state, too, and I haven't noticed that political affiliation has anything to do
