I just have to tell somebody: Jim Beaver registered on this site a few months ago solely because he wanted to tell me that I was wrong about something I'd said about Deadwood.  You guys, Ellsworth hates me!  I'm ashamed but also honored.

Come on, Gwyneth Paltrow is always boasting about her Philadelphia Main Line mother and, in her words, her "Long Island Jew" father. Clearly you need a goop cleanse.

It's a great critique of the patriarchy, too, and the tyranny, I guess, of pregnancy. And the utter lack of hope for Rosemary therein.  I mean, that comes pretty directly from Ira Levin's book, but Polanski captured it beautifully in the film.  I still think Charles Grodin is a dick for assuring turning Rosemary over

"Look at that taint!"  Sorry, that's the only one I remember.

I have a girl-crush on Aaron Paul.  All of him.

Yeah, I don't get this place sometimes.  It's absolutely full of sarcasm everybody gets and appreciates, but every now and then somebody makes an obvious joke and everybody turns into a literalist.  I mean, nobody's telling the jokesters below that this show isn't (primarily) a wacky comedy and it's not church that

Well, everything Walt's done has ostensibly been to save his family, but I think the problem is that he wouldn't need to save them if it weren't for his own actions.  He really is The Danger to the people he knows.  You could argue that he got into the drug trade with the best of intentions, but I think one major

Heh—Gilligan says he's had Jonathan Banks mad at him, and it was unpleasant.  I wonder why. Because he was out for the last few episodes?

Those comments and reviews are what made me register at this site last year.  But the finale discussion bugged me a little.
**SPOILERS**  Several people said that the final shot of the plant, the closeup, was unnecessary and too "on-the-nose" (dear god if I never hear that phrase again it'll be too soon), but I don't

That scene where Joaquin Phoenix is walking in a tie and extra-high pants?  He's walking like a real guy in the 50s, like men in the 50s walked.  I'm not kidding, that's a real thing.  I've seen it in movies.
