Agreed. I just love the lean and mean 80's aesthetic and mind-set driving both of them.
I think that's the "problem." Particularly in the summer, it's hard to find the time/excuses to sit in and play video games. I imagine I'll make some time for GTA V, though.

I need to spend more time playing video games. I only play one like once every three to four weeks it feels like.
I love that game, but I don't think it's that scary. Unsettling in parts, but its become dated in some unfortunate ways. Still worth playing, though, and I thought it's narrative structure was pretty damn fantastic as well.
I had the same issue with Dishonored. I was pretty much as leveled up as I was going to get by the third mission or so.
Suttree is, on certain days, my favorite book by Cormac. There's a long passage towards the end where it's so beautiful and florid that it's almost like he's showing off.
