Spoiler alert for Man of Steel 3! Though, ironically enough, that one won't star Superman at all and is just a Batman movie in Metropolis.

@avclub-d542a3419c3ad57206a96bcc86155ebc:disqus Fallout 3 taught me that's mostly true.
Well, this one deals with Superman's torment over killing Zod by having him punch Batman in the face like really hard while a shaky cam catches it from afar and ZOOMS in for a better look.
That's true. Most of the game is a "proof of concept" almost until the turn 2/3rds into the game (though, the second third at least has the puzzles compounding in an interesting way). I think that's why I liked the sequel more even if it wasn't as objectively "tight" in its design.
It doesn't help that this all just feels really pandering.
Because they're taking inspiration from The Dark Knight Returns and going to have them fight.
I'm pretty positive the entire reason they're rushing it and have Batman in it was because of it's modest box office numbers (comparatively).
AND Snyder. He's a co-writer. Because an executive saw Sucker Punch and apparently thought that was a good idea.
Yeah, I'd really like to see a reason for that. Love that book, and the movie is basically that comic but in moving form.
At least they'll be addressing the lack of chemistry between her and Superman by showing that, in this universe, he's gay with Batman.
I mean, he could just be tired of certain lines/memes from the game that the internet ran into the ground over and over. I've found myself tiring of certain games because of stuff like that. It's unfortunate.
I feel like, though you rank him as alright/meh, Locke episodes are generally good to really good, though I might be thinking about the series as a whole, and I might still be factoring how much "Walkabout" blew my mind the first time I saw it.

Joss stated the Ultron in their film will be different from any comic story line, and it won't involve Hank Pym at all.
I'm tired of super hero movies overall, but making Man of Steel 2 inspired by The Dark Knight Returns tells me, again, that Snyder just really doesn't understand how Superman works. That's like the worst interpretation of Superman; I hated that part of the book. Miller just turns him into a caricature to make a…
Man, I think I'm just getting burnt out on comic book movies because my interest in the former tempered when Joss mentioned Ultron will be different from the comics and the latter is just zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.
Well, it's happened. I've been reading the AV Club so long I can no longer tell when anyone on here is being serious anymore.
I should watch this show at some point.
