I believe that was the program where the guy had a pull tab lodged in his throat. When he would pull the tab on a beer he would drop it in the can. I still remember the x-ray for that scene. It was not a pretty thought.
Someone is lying to you. I have watched both because my wife loves Vampire Diaries. Supernatural is much more entertaining.
