Weird review. While I agree Kevin Connolly did a bad job narrating, the first two paragraphs of this write-up are a pretty crazy simplification of the complex con job that this guy pulled off - something I think the doc did a really good job laying out.

I just went through a lot of the comments and I'm surprised everyone is buying this as sincere. It really reeks of artistic BS to me. I struggle with depression too but this note felt too broad and plotted out to actually be from a guy struggling to keep it together. Especially the line "I'm afraid she's still in love

"Will you take me to Philadelphia with you, please?" - Coach Taylor
I have loved many TV shows in this Golden Age. But none more than Friday Night Lights. And that was the best finale I've ever seen.

Josh being back was the best part of your Tuesday? … really?

Yeah, I agree about the consequences being psychological but the weird guitar riff that exploded after Raylan's "I'm suspended" undermined that. It felt way too… cool?
I thought the episode overall was great but I think the way they dealt w/ Augustine was pretty lame.

It's good, but not better. Quarles was fantastic, but cartoony. Mags, though, she can't be topped. She felt so authentic to the world of Harlan and that season 2 finale was exceptional.

You're arguing about the best season of Justified? Stop. There's no use. It was already in the glass.

My favorite part of this episode was the guy from Staten Island with the Boston accent.

The pronunciation jokes have always been lazy to me.

I gotta be honest - I like The New Girl but this was a really bad episode.

This show is not realistic. Only ToddVanDerWerff can shovel all of the ridiculous crap these characters say and do and pile it into a piece of art with deep insight and great meaning.

The Emperor Has No Clothes. Especially the moments where she literally wasn't wearing any clothes. The characters on this show just don't track from episode to episode and they rarely make big decisions grounded in reality. The small moments on the show work but the big stuff just doesn't make sense.

I'm almost positive Sherman and Tang are the only ones who know that we've seen on the show.

Wait, so you guys think Dewey knows Cooper is gay? Hm. I'm almost positive he doesn't. I can't remember specifics right now but there have been moments where Dewey has said things that screamed of being extremely awkward specifically b/c Cooper is gay and Dewey doesn't know.
Which, to me, makes their relationship, and

THEY WERE ON A BREAK!!!!

No fucking way. That would be a Homeland-epic shitty twist. Stan lurking around Philip's garage that one night would make absolutely no sense then - in addition to every other tense scene they've ever had together.

There is nothing fantastic in season 2 of Homeland. Nothing. Be afraid. Be very afraid.

Please don't compare this to Homeland. Never has a show amazed so much in 6 episodes and then shit the bed so harshly ever since…

The scene between Dewey and Cooper in the hospital blew me away. It was amazing. The homophobic jokes, the honest love between 2 men - 2 friends, the idea of risking your life to do a job that at the end of the day is just a job. Absolutely incredible.

Ugh. Please stop mentioning Patrick Wilson's wife. It only proves that the criticism is true. His wife was a gorgeous hollywood actress/model when they got together. And now after 2 kids and 8 years of marriage she looks how she looks - which has nothing to do with that ridiculous episode of GIRLS.
