That one gets a lot of flack for not being faithful to the book but I love it.

Maybe doing 20 episodes like last season would work better. I actual liked the crane scene despite the dodgy special effects. Kara gets nerfed so often that its nice to see her doing larger scale stuff sometimes.

I hope they make her more grey than a complete villain. It would be more interesting if she genuinely cared about Kara or even Supergirl but has conflicting agendas and viewpoints. If does turn evil than I hope it isn't some evil all along reveal but a slow change in a once decent person.

I think a big part of that is simply because they are at different points in their relationships. Alex/Maggie are actually a couple while Kara and Mon-el are not and that requires obstacles and drama to keep them apart longer.

Maybe I'm wrong but I don't see Winn dying this season unless Jeremy Jordan decided to leave and I'm not sure they would bother to involve him in a major crossover if they planned on killing him off so soon. People seem to like Winn a lot more now than they did the at the beginning of season 1.

I like Mon-el but he does hog up too much of Kara's screentime.

I don't mind James and he and Winn work well as friends but he isn't essential to the show at this point and the writing for him has not been great this season. When he's absent I don't miss him.I get the impression that the actor has a strong contract so I don't know if they can easily get rid of him.

I don't think it has ever been addressed on the show but the way Kara acts would make so much more sense if she was. I do think its been implied that she hasn't done a lot of dating. She does not act like someone who has much sexual experience or has ever been in a longterm relationship.

Hiddleston isn't a bad choice but I would prefer someone lesser known and slightly more imposing like James Norton.

"Social repression is way too broad a theme that you can write any movie that deals with it off as unoriginal."

I recall her making a decent amount of jokes.

Maybe it's not a slur but a lot of people find the c-word much more offensive than douchebag.

I thought the c-word was the equivalent of those slurs for women.

Blu-ray can make green screen in older movies more obvious.

I'm not assuming they have prejudices but they are common.

Lots of people have prejudices they aren't conscious of and they can screw people over without trying to.

From what I've read Lee wrote it first and her editors suggested she focus on Scout's childhood so she reworked it and it became To Kill A Mockingbird. Go Set A Watchmen isn't a sequel and shouldn't be marketed as one, it is an early draft.

"Never mind that there isn't a single bankable male movie star in his 30s,"

I liked Far From The Madding Crowd and Schoenaerts as Gabriel Oak but this movie looks bad.

I read about that. Spielberg did all the close ups but all the stunts and others shots were the second unit.
