He wouldn't do it, he was a big fan of the UK show and when he was approached to do the American version he declined saying it would never be as good.

Some of the early challenges were pretty cool too, especially the ones with Jeremy in a car and the other two in public transportation.

The Vietnam special was the peak of the whole show. Started slowly going downhill from there with some occasional good-to-great shows.

I never looked at their conservatism as a big deal, mainly because I'm American and I am probably just as unaware of UK politics as I am aware the fact that everyone on Fox News* are stuffy prudish dingbats. At least those two have a sense of humor about themselves, in a way pretty much none of their American

I really just hope this means James May does more of his own stuff. Whether it be his wine series with Oz Clarke or Toy Stories, he knows how to make good TV by himself.

How is James May objectionable?

Wasn't the character on Mad TV first?

Please tell me there's video of this.

"Guilty pleasures"?

They win awards studios care much more about, money.

I think the only way this could happen is if the movie was shortened to however long the trailer is, as I think that's really all it's good for. If Michael Bay and others like him started doing that, they would sweep the short film category.

I'm a little confused, are we talking about movies or flatulence?

Braveheart came out the year before.

"Gates of Delirium" by Yes was performed much more flawlessly on the version from their 2nd live album Yessongs than it's original on Relayer.

These reviews are a bit bittersweet for me since I cut the cord last summer (thus can't really be bothered to watch it when it's not live), but otherwise don't regret it. Glad you're doing them though, and especially glad you're reviewing WrestleMania.

Robert Wuhl kayfabing as Arliss.

I prefer Allman's version too, though I have quite the bias since he's one of my favorite singers. He and Jackson Browne recently did a duet of it.

There's a nice quote on IMDB's Royal Tenenbaums page attributed to Browne about the use of it in the movie;

The abuse charges were recanted.

There was practically none the last season, but there was probably enough in last season to last an entire show (not on HBO).
