The three guys were definitely in danger, but the crew seemed to get the brunt of that anger, a few of them being injured and all.

I bet being on the set of Oliver Stone's The Doors must have been fun, especially if you're not the prudish type. I'm sure there was a lot of hard work done, but I get the feeling that it was kind of his victory lap for the critical success he had accumulated by then.

I think if it's anything Eddie was dead nervous to perform that night. Even in coming out talking to the crowd like he did, he seemed pretty jittery. Which is understandable, he'd not been on that stage in 30 years and was within close proximity to nearly everyone alive who made the show what it was.
