Steven Wilson's 4th solo album Hand. Cannot. Erase. The title track is available on iTunes and is something of a departure from his other solo albums, but more reminiscent of his worth with Blackfield or his more poppy stuff from Porcupine Tree.

I bet they all do coke "socially". I swear you can see one or two of them do some sniffing from time to time.

Fully caught up on The Americans. I'm interested in where it will go in the 3rd season but I can't say I'm chomping at the bit. Noah Emmerich is undoubtedly the highlight for me. He projects the lonely figure of authority so well, and has no shortage of chemistry with the cast.

Douchiest fictional podcast host, anyway. Otherwise it's a pretty wide field.

It felt much more organic than I feared it would be after the end of the pilot when he saw her play after screwing his assistant.

lol

David Gilmour is possibly putting out another solo album this year, and has already talked about wanting to go on what he calls an "old man tour", which if his last tour is any indication means a short jaunt around Europe and a handful of shows in the States. I'm so hoping to catch any Midwest show he does (most

The way the show snowballs from the pilot on has only been done just as good if not better than when Breaking Bad did it. That alone ranks it high with me and why I would never argue your point about it's own greatness.

I wonder where the oboe is on the list of most difficult instruments to play. I heard it's either the bagpipes or sitar.

This is perfect actually, since I just got done binging it and can still remember it all. With the last two seasons of House of Cards I couldn't write much for the reviews since I couldn't be bothered to go over the season again.

Eh, I don't know. I thought the reveal of his true intention was funny, as I didn't totally believe the act he put on in the previous episode. Not that I saw that it would go in this direction but it felt like it would have dragged the show a bit if his intentions were honorable. Plus I cannot say I'm too big a fan of

Just personally speaking, I'd describe 2014 at worst as "character forming". I hit a lot of really bad lows but I managed to scrape myself up from it and manage to convince myself that they weren't anything more than bumps in the road. I'm a bit healthier than I was a year ago, and a long-distance relationship formed

Even luckier when the band toured The Wall because he was technically just a sideman in his own band, but reaped the benefits financially because the band were in financial straits after being ripped off by Norton Warburg.

Gilmour wrote the words to "Coming Back to Life" as well, which I think is a great song.

Great video too.

One of my favorites, but it took me awhile to come around to it as a whole. It was the first Floyd CD I'd ever purchased (long story short, I purchased all that was available within a span of a year when I was 13, before internet was available where I lived), and I remember being blown away a bit and wanting to dig a

The futbol accident at the end was a nice abrupt stop to the morning-after feeling to that scene.

Someone as accomplished as he would probably find bands with more "punk" cred boring.

Huss talked about his appearance in the movie on Kevin Pollak's show a few weeks ago. He'd gotten the offer but turned it down since it was such a small part but changed his mind when Cameron Crowe called him at home to talk him into getting it.
