Varied, yes. But I have a pet theory that all of the characters he played on the show seem to antagonistic to either the Simpsons themselves or Springfield in general. Not often as villain-y as Sideshow Bob, or even Brooks' own performance in the movie, but he's never been presented as anything less than a problem in

I think it was genuinely a mistake because it was the last song they worked on before their deadline to finish it was up. There's another mistake towards the very end of the track "Eclipse" as you can faintly hear a muzak version of "Paperback Writer" (I think, I know it's a Beatles song anyway) presumably being

I like the acoustic stuff they were doing too, much more pastoral than folksy.

I can't stand the fans who want to turn both mine and their taste in music into a pissing contest.

If Gilmour continued Pink Floyd as a solo project without Mason or Wright's involvement, I would agree with you. But no one person is Pink Floyd, it's success was a sum total of what everyone brought to the band, even if they weren't credited. If Roger's two solo albums after The Final Cut used the Pink Floyd name,

Ummagumma was pretty aimless I'll give you that, though the live album is much much better. I mean more from Atom Heart Mother on more than up to that point. AHM, Meddle and Obscured by Clouds each have some great material. There's also their live stuff from that period, which absolutely smokes. The BBC stuff in

Gilmour's wife wrote all but one song on On An Island. And that one song is actually quite good. Can't wait for his next album.

I don't count stuff that's been "announced".

I think it was the Oakland A's. I can't be sure though.

He does this call-and-response thing on their new song that I really like. It's not a great song lyrically but kind of typical of Floyd everything else lifts it up.

I think they were more known individually in the UK than here.

He has two films in pre-production according to IMDB.

He's gotten a lot of media attention lately, not all of it good obviously, but he's probably more well-known now than he ever was. Seems to me, anyway.

From the title I thought it would have been that pedo who directed Powder.

They could have at least mentioned that at one time pretty much every member of the classic line-up had hits as either part of Genesis or on their own. Peter Gabriel with So and "Sledgehammer", Phil Collins with No Jacket Required and the numerous hits off of that, the first Mike + The Mechanics record, and Genesis

The only thing I can remember him being decent in was in And The Band Played On.

I've been listening to a lot of the 70's albums lately, and I never get tired of them. Trick Of The Tail might be my favorite of theirs. That, SEBTP and The Lamb are probably my three top favorites. Trespass is quite good too, very folksy and whimsical.

I read a hilarious story about a baseball player playing Dark Side of the Moon on the stadium's speakers during his opposing team's practice.

4. There are 4 versions.
