The guitar solos are pretty tops for a song that was a hit on the pop charts.

"All She Wants To Do Is Dance" is actually referenced in Bag Of Bones.

I'd love to see more of these to be honest.

I know Bill did it first, but I heard Denis do it in a bit about celebrities and politics.

Neil Young & Crazy Horse's "Mideast Vacation" is a vastly better song about Ugly Americans.

The small (and I mean small) town I grew up in has about 7-9 churches.

Denis Leary did that same bit.

I like the version on the Eagles concert disc from about ten years ago. It has a horn section and guitars replacing the rockafire keyboard explosions from the original.

What you didn't mention, is something that almost earns an F.

"It's like it's…" is going to become his catchphrase.

Look at my link up top, and you might agree there's some connections to Love.

Which is much darker than you might think.

Watched the recent episode of Nova about 1 World Trade Center and the 9/11 memorial site and museum. Fascinating stuff about how they've gone about making a new kind of skyscraper.

it's tough for me to cry lately, but I came close when shit went down between Walt, Sky and Jr.. I really thought someone was going to bite the big one right then and there.

Not really meant to be a knock on those guys, but I felt that this episode distilled what those guys are capable of in 40-something minutes where they need 90 minutes to 2 hours or more.

Fincher. Haneke. Aronofsky. Pussies.

I've seen it, you won't be disappointed.

"No Sugar Tonight/New Mother Nature" is brilliant.
