Aren't parents doing enough of that already? (look it up, Chuck E. Cheese riots is a thing now).

I was humming "Everything In It's Right Place" to myself a few bars into that song.

Wallenda made it!

It's important to remember then that Walt and Skyler actually started as teacher/student.

The first ten minutes or so is completely TD and is a wonderful bit of music/film synergy. There are some great visual moments in those opening moments, too. The pan down the alley in the rain and the drive onto those unmistakably Chicago streets.

Fair enough. I'm apparently not keeping as much interest in this whole thing as other people are. So I'll admit some laziness on my behalf for the wording of the post.

Yeah, that is kind of disturbing I'll admit. If there's some underlying reason why they fired her and are using this as an excuse, that's fine too.

You say that like she's the sole cause of the obesity problem. She certainly hasn't helped things but I don't care much for using her as the punching bag of this problem. Mostly because it doesn't do much to help the real problem in the first place.

I can't imagine cooking shows work well on radio.

Then maybe the 22-episode model should be reconsidered, or even just needs to go. Things are changing so much with how people view television, that maybe the old standard of those shows being cranked out like sausage will soon be seen for what they are not just by the intelligentsia but by everybody.

Ultimately I must agree with this. I think the single heinous thing he did all season was withhold the result of Will's brain-scan from everyone. The abuse of that kind of power is as frightening as anything, because it's utterly possible to happen.

It's the one created specifically for the Ridley Scott movie Hannibal.

Thief is great. Frank's language is so technical and delivered so matter-of-factly, when it either concerns the job or telling Tuesday Weld about his time in jail in that brilliant diner scene, it tells you to pay attention to what he's saying regardless of volume or inflection. He only says it once and will not

I only saw a few minutes of it once, but I loved the subplot that sour milk was like Jagermeister to aliens.

BREAKING BAD SPOILERS BECAUSE WHY NOT

I like the accent too. Fortunately if there's a line I missed I just hit rewind a bit until I hear it right. No need to turn it up to 11 here, although it's not a bad idea since the sound design is sublime.

Yes, but exactly why does there have to be a role for shows like that? Is it not possible that over time Hannibal could break the mold for everybody? And that maybe, just maybe the effect of cable is finally going to affect the big networks?

Sort of related but one of Dancy's early film roles was a part in Black Hawk Down which was Ridley's film right after Hannibal.
